Large White Kintsugi Dish

This one-of-a-kind large white stoneware dish was made in Japan and repaired by hand in our studio using a modern kintsugi technique, the Japanese practice of mending broken pottery with gold. Every crack is traced with a gold effect lacquer that creates a finish identical to real gold.

It is a meaningful piece to give when words fall short, whether for grief, loss, a new beginning, or someone who needs a reminder that what has been broken can become part of something beautiful. Use it as a small vase or pencil holder, or keep it as a quiet reminder of resilience and transformation.
