White Cherry Blossom Kintsugi Bowl

This one-of-a-kind white cherry blossom kintsugi bowl was made in Japan, then broken and repaired by hand using kintsugi, the Japanese art of mending pottery with gold. The cracks are not hidden. They are celebrated as part of the bowl’s story, reflecting the idea that we can be whole not in spite of our scars and imperfections, but because of them.

Each crack is real, and every repair line is traced by hand using a brass metal blend that creates a gold-effect finish designed to closely resemble real gold. The cherry blossom design and luminous repair work are even more beautiful in person.
